I remember that as a teenager, I listened to this song and thought about how dirty, yet sweet it was. As a guy, I now listen to this song and appreciate its beauty - the melody becomes somehow more important when you reach 50, and the words remind me of some mistakes I've made in my life that have fortunately turned out not to haunt me.
