This is one of my favorite "found" songs...I love the images. The whole album is wonderful.
It took me a while to become a Jack Johnson fan. I never bought an album and probably wouldn't have listened to any if one hadn't been given to me.
I find Jack is growing on me slowly. For a long time I cynically thought that his whole laid-back vibe was a commercial construct dreamed up by marketing people. But he does it so well I don't really care now whether it's genuine or not!
As I said, it too took me a while.
I found him a little too pop for my tastes, but then I got an album and liked what I heard.
I have alquired 3 of his albums and they are great to drive to as well as to knit to...he has a lovely pace to his sounds...nice background music. But I understand that he mjght be an aquired taste.
I agree he is an acquired taste. I'm just glad I took the time to acquire it.
