Love this track, tho' I can't listen to it with quite the same awe having heard John Prines' "Come Back To Us, Barbara Lewis"
Apparently he used her name because it sounded so "All American girl-next-door"

This song is one that just hangs around in the recesses of my brain. From the first note, I remembered every word and could sing along as if it were yesterday. When I heard the Prine, it didn't register. Thanks for putting it together for me.
A long-forgotten oldie. If you listen closely, this song has a deep bluesy feel to it. All the "ShooBop"s make it sound doowopish, but it's more blues. Anyway you hear it, it's great!
She does have this remarkable voice which transcends all the shoobops.
