Do you have any idea how many oldies radio shows this song opened? It never seemed to matter whether the show was on a Saturday night, or not. Fantastic choice, Kat! I can imagine the "jukebox Saturday nights" at your house. Anything, and everything would be played, from classical to bluegrass, to jazz, to folk. And it would all work. Gimme a swizzle stick for my beer!
Dan, It's true: I play them all depending on my mood or the dinner being served or the company. Maybe in the reaches of my memory was my having heard this on the radio, but then again, I like the Four Vagabonds. Their sound is amazing.

ok, this song is wonderful
Now, I love it too
The scratches are reminiscent of a crackling fire and only add to the recording's cosy charm--thanks!
Gaston,
I was hoping you'd all feel the same way where you heard it.
Ekaine,
I'm so glad. The Four Vagabonds are wonderful!
Jim,
You're welcome, and I'm thinking fire now!
fire! me too Kat, you have any marshmellows & chocolate & grahmn crackers? We can roast some "smores"
Morphy,
Smores were a summer favorite though I guess it's cold enough to bring them inside.
