I am an on again-off again DiFranco fan. It is the acoustic Ani I most like, the one who sings this song. It is from Red Letter Year, her newest album, a wonderful album.

I'm a can't "wait until she finds a melody" fan of Ani. Her last 3-4 cds have been this kind of lyrical rambling that doesn't carry a good melody. I love the experimentation, but how many CD's are we to buy of this.
Excuse the negativity! I really like her music, but not the latest direction she is going.

You'll not get any argument from me. I want her to ditch the band sound and get back to her earlier music which is the key reason I like this song.
