Thanks for this, Kat! Jay & the Americans did not get the play, over here, that they deserved! I would love to hear Living Above Your Head again.

Wonderful selections here again, Kat. Nice work, you know I enjoy it all, just can't get here often enough. Thanks.

Jim,
You're most welcome.

Their tracks are difficult to find on my download sites. I tried but didn't find the one you wanted.

Carl,
Thanks! I'm glad whenever you drop in to say hello!.

Great tunes, every one!! What a voice that Jay Black has (and Traynor was no slouch either!) And Sloopy, well, that's another one of what we used to call a curve buster. I love this Billy Joe Royal one, too. It's so good it makes up for the way he butchered "Hush" (IMHO)

Another seldom-heard song. Nice one, Kat!

Deb,
Most were from back in my day. I remember these oh so well. Jay and the Americans are often forgotten. It was fun to play them again.

Thanks, Dan
I figured to go way back for most of today's tunes.

I don't know if we talked about this earlier (getting a little deja blog right now) but the Shangri Las do a great gender-swapped cover of She (He) Cried - have you heard it?

Deb,
You hadn't mentioned it before. I've added it to my hunt for list (getting longer every day).
