This just seemed right for today. It's a beautiful day and some upbeat music seemed in order.
Captain Tractor is a Canadian band from Edmonton. Many of their songs are traditional, and this one is one of their most well known. It is from a 1994 album called Land.

I remember seeing this years ago on Bravo - when Bravo was Bravissimo - and always loved it. It wasn't until recently that I discovered that the McGarrigle Sisters were singing it.

That's the video I saw a long while back when I first heard the song. I tried to find the McGarrigle's album with this on it for download but just couldn't. I love this song. I sing along!!
